Pakaiahi Soap with Frankincense and Ylang Ylang (Ganoderma Applanatum)

The Ganoderma Applanatum Fungi (Pakaiahi) was traditionally a firestarter and carried through the ngahere for days. She grows on decaying and mamae trees offering healing.  However the Pakaiahi gathered for these soaps have been washed up on the shores of Wharekahika and are gathered after our big storms. 

She works in our bodies in the same way in which she was traditionally used. literally igniting the fire within us and helping our bodies immune system.  This bar is a staple in my whanau.  Allow the ash in this ancient medicinal fungi work its magic on you. 

Spiritually, she will help to relax, ground and bring you into presence and is safe for our pregnant mothers and kaumatua.

Whole Pakaiahi infused in sweet almond oil, Pakaiahi ash, coconut oil, shea butter, frankincense, ylang ylang, water, lye
